The Making of Happy Bunny: 2D Animation

I was a 2D animation student at the Central St. Saints (known as University of the Arts London) in London. Steve Robert taught me a course. Robert was my excellent tutor. I passed with merit. I drew a rough draft of the animation papers. I painted the different backgrounds on my sketchbook and then used Adobe Animate. I worked very hard. I enjoyed drawing them very much.

I learned to draw animation with shadows on the ground, like a mirror. You take and play a ball and test yourself because the research is essential.

The Snowman and Me The story is about one for calling ' The Snowman.'  The Snowman  is a 1982 British animated television film. The poem was based on Raymond Briggs' 1978 picture book  The Snowman . Dianne Jackson directed it for the British public service Channel 4. It showed first on 26 December 1982. It was nominated for the Best Animated Short Film Academy Award and won a BAFTA TV Award.  Later, in 2012, my tutor, Steve Roberts, gave me details from Lupus Film about the new  The Snowman and the Snowdog . I applied my CV to the Lupus Film. I chose to work as a rendering department assistant. The 'Snowman and the Snowdog' animated film gave me a taste of working in the film industry. I communicated by writing on a notebook/laptop. The hearing animators and I worked much harder. Lupus Film had over 200,000 hand-drawn images. The Snowman and the Snowdog's one of credits has my name: Stephanus Pretorius, Rendering Department assistant, Additional Crew

Happy Bunny (Project 2014) - 2D animation

I worked on my project for animation. I drew a cartoon for a bunny. I chose 2D. I drew a lot of animation papers. I used Adobe Flash (now called Adobe Animate). I painted backgrounds on my sketches and later used Photoshop. Description: The bunny is an animated cartoon. The bunny looks like a bouncy ball. He is a very happy animal. He hopping everywhere! The Hidden One (my own project 2013)

It was my first idea of an ordinary coffee box. A typical coffee box looked like a mask and ghost.  I planned my project. My short film is called 'The Hidden One.' 'The Hidden One is my own story under my copyright.  I began my project's idea for a scripted story and rough draft storyboard  in 2011 and later did research . Then I drew with storyboard and animatic storyboard  in September 2012. I worked much hard with animation for four months (July to November 2013). I used Adobe Flash (Adobe Animate), Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro for my animation. I downloaded with music types from www.shockwave-sound.com. I used myself a female voice  for female character. I used music types and female voice on them.
